Our goal is to discover the whole spectrum of human perception with the help of fashion.
Perceptual Thinkers draws inspiration from the behavior and clothing preferences of people living with autism. Our clothes aim to give an insight into their special perception by using stimulating fabrics and playful design patterns to experience clothing as a sensorial phenomenon. The clothes are capable to serve many different needs either completely ordinary or special ones. Our main focus is physical perception therefore we place playful, stimulating details or on the contrary, calming effects on the clothes. This sensitive state of mind provoked by the clothes is helping to understand the peculiar perception of people living with autism as much as to concentrate on our inner needs. The clothes are following the ethos of design for all therefore they perfectly fit for neurotypical people or for those who are affected by autism as well. They are not medical aids nor fully conceptual clothes: we aim for the in between, where anyone is capable to discover their own senses. Our goal is to spread the notion of conscious shopping therefore we provide as many background information as possible about our products. From this year (2019), our philosophy of dressmaking will be different than the average thinking.
In the future we will take the focus to innovation and reformation so we do not insist to make two seasonal collections in one year, but we will experiment with the materials and forms as much as we can. Also, the size of the collections will be different.
